The CSUN Student Recreation Center (SRC) is an award winning 138,000 square foot facility for exercise and leisure activity that promotes lifelong health and wellness for students and faculty. The LEED certified facility services upwards of 5,000 visitors each day.

Refresh and rebalance the SRC exercise offering and other high usage training areas, while incorporating the latest in fitness technology.

The SRC at California State University Northridge places significant emphasis on continuous revitalization and program balance, adapting each year with changes in student interest and requirement. Recently, CSUN chose to integrate stronger school spirit branding and coloring elements into its cardiovascular equipment. The new Matador logo and CSUN customized paint colors are now proudly displayed and seamlessly integrated into the updated Star Trac Experience line of equipment.

CSUN also increased the investment in its data and communications platform for students by introducing its first workout tracking app. The Netpulse mobile platform enables students to seamlessly track their workouts from the treadmill to the dorm room, keeping pace with all of the latest wearable and smartphone applications.
