Project Summary

The Grand Princess, one of the nine large vessels within their fleet, was introduced in 1998 and offers signature services such as, Movies Under The Stars®, Tie The Knot Weddings, Italian inspired Piazza and The Sanctuary®, and recently underwent the most extensive drydock and revitalization to date of any Princess ship.  The spa and fitness amenity was heavily targeted for upgrade, and Advantage Fitness Products participated extensively in its remodel and equipment refit.

Results

AFP has worked extensively with Princess Cruises over the years to produce the best fitness facilities offered at sea.  The goal of the Grand princess in May of 2011 was to create a complete redesign of their 12,000 square feet spa and fitness facility.  Working with Princess Cruise’s project team, the RTKL spa team, contractors and sub-contractors, AFP created a beautiful facility that has significantly updated the offering in fitness.  Back at sea, the Grand Princess is now providing their passengers with a comprehensive fitness program consisting of world class fitness experts, state-of-the-art fitness equipment, body assessment, and innovative classes that help achieve individual goals for a healthier lifestyle.  The Lotus Spa® Fitness Center provides a fusion of traditional exercise and cutting edge fitness services that provides result-driven exercise managed exclusively by Steiner Leisure, Ltd.
