Announce Strategic Alliance
Companies ink deal to provide new Total Gym products to fitness facilities
in the United States
SAN DIEGO—March 1, 2011—Total Gym®, the leading manufacturer of functional and bodyweight resistance training equipment for fitness, athletic training and rehabilitation, and Advantage Fitness Products (AFP), the trusted provider of full-service fitness facility planning, design, supply and service, have announced their strategic alliance. The distribution agreement allows for the sale of a full suite of Total Gym products, including the company’s newest line of Total Gym incline bodyweight trainers, to non-membership based fitness facilities in the United States.
AFP’s experience in the commercial fitness market, along with Total Gym’s 37-year global brand presence and unique training solutions, join forces toward growing the industry’s biggest trend—functional training. The alliance will offer Total Gym customers—both new and existing—integrated services as provided by AFP to their clients.
