AFP Announces ‘official’ Status With University of Southern California

Fitness-Industry Leaders in Consultancy and Supply, Distinguished As Official Fitness Consultant for USC Recreational Sports

December 4, 2006 - Advantage Fitness Products (AFP), the industry leaders in planning, design, supply, service and support to non-member based fitness facilities, today announced its status as the official fitness consultant for University of Southern California (USC) Recreational Sports. The partnership, born through AFP’s exemplary work with USC in the ongoing comprehensive redesign and upgrade of the University’s student and alumni recreation facility, the William Lyon Center, offers AFP branding and promotional benefits from USC, and offers USC a variety of AFP service benefits and discount opportunities.

“From supplying state-of-the-art equipment to offering expertise across a host of critical areas, AFP has played a critical role in the ongoing revitalization of the Lyon Center,” said Mike Munson, Assistant Director, USC Recreational Sports. “The feedback from the students, faculty and alumni on the various upgrades and renovations we’ve made has been very positive, and we believe AFP’s partnership has been an invaluable component of our success.”

The partnership provides a host of branding and promotional benefits to AFP, most notably a “USC Recreational Sports Wall of Fame” presented by AFP, highlighting the USC Recreational Athlete of the Month.  The “Wall of Fame” will feature AFP company logos, and will be on permanently on display within the Lyon Center and on the Recreational Sports home page of the USC web site.

Additional benefits include special banners and links to information about AFP on the Recreational Sports home page of the USC web site, as well as AFP sponsored editorial features on the site related to nutrition, training and other fitness related-information.

In addition to these branding opportunities, AFP-brand products will be sold in the Lyon Center Pro Shop, specifically AFP’s proprietary line of travelTRAINER products and accessories.
