Biography

One of the most innovative management principals, I. Yvan Miklin, President & CEO of Aquila, Ltd., Health & Fitness Solutions, has been a vital part of the health & fitness industry since 1993. Some of the companies, developers and institutions he has worked with include: Town Sports International (TSI), CIGNA Corporation, Yahoo! Inc., Sheraton Hotels & Resorts, Wyndham Hotels & Resorts, Health Partners, Equity Office, University of Pennsylvania, and a variety of federal and state agencies to include US Department of Defense, US Department of Transportation, US Department of Treasury, and US Transportation Security Administration among others.

Miklin earned an undergraduate degree in International Business & Finance Administration from The Fox School of Business & Management, Temple University in Philadelphia, PA. Miklin is Health & Fitness Instructor Certified ® by American College of Sports Medicine. He is a Board Member and Advisor to the Medical Wellness Association (MWA) Board, member of IHRSA’s (International Health & Racquet Sports Association), speaker’s bureau, and speaker for ABC (Athletic Business Conference).

Management Focus

Miklin is proficient in all stages of facility design, pre-opening, and start up operations to include commercial, corporate, and spa fitness & wellness arenas.  He has worked with facilities ranging from more than 90,000 square feet to the smallest ranging not more than 1,000 square feet.  His areas of focus include human resources training and development, turnkey club operations & management, financing, and legal management. Furthermore, his focus continues in the areas of innovative wellness management, integrative medicine applications, and health & fitness programming administration for corporations, commercial, multi-use clubs and spa clubs.
