Advantage Fitness Products has established itself as a true partner in the design, supply, service and ongoing support of fitness facilities for more than 15,000 clients around the world. From hotels and resorts, to corporate fitness centers... from apartment and condo communities to universities, AFP provides the expertise to make fitness a valuable and profitable business. The following is a reflection of our fist decade in partnership with our valued clients.
Company History:
1996
After five years of participating in the development of both the commercial and retail business of then the Nation's largest fitness equipment retail chain Busybody, Bryan Green established Advantage Fitness Products with headquarters in Woodland Hills, CA. AFP's original focus was on product development -- primarily the manufacturing of practical fitness accessories, including the first protective covers tailored to fit leading treadmill brands.
1997
AFP begins the critical transition away from product manufacturing and into strategic consulting, supply and service. AFP Founder & current CEO, Bryan Green, identifies a significant void in the fitness industry's support, related to the growing number of non-member-based fitness facilities. The unique requirements of these various markets were in significant need of expertise in conceptualizing, designing, and servicing these non-traditional fitness environments. AFP now focused on becoming the industry-leading resource to meet this demand.
1998
AFP's consulting and supply services bring success and rapid expansion throughout Southern California and its corporate headquarters are relocated to Santa Monica, Calif. AFP also begins to effectively partner with architectural development firms, providing expertise at the onset of full-scale projects, including hotels, resorts and multi-dwelling communities throughout the United States and internationally.
2000
AFP's expansion continues as the company acquires the Commercial Division assets of Busybody, Inc.'s Fit-Tech Fitness . The company also establishes its second distribution center in Northern California.
2001
AFP's expansion begins to move East, establishing offices in Phoenix and a third distribution center in Tempe, Arizona. The company also acquires the commercial division assets of industry leader Fun N' Fitness.
2002
AFP expands into Nevada establishing offices in both Las Vegas and Reno with an emphasis on the significant resort/hotel markets within these Nevada tourism hubs. The company also opens its fourth distribution center in Las Vegas.
2003
After building a successful full-scale consultancy and supply firm, AFP returns to the business of product development and manufacturing, launching its Advantage Line of Dual Station strength-training units and a complimentary accessory line.
2004
Based on its rapid growth and unparalleled expertise, AFP grows its territorial exclusive relationship with Precor USA, the industry's leading manufacturer of premium commercial exercise equipment. Following its successful expansion throughout the Western United States, AFP expands to the East Coast opening offices in New York City.
2005
AFP launches the travelTRAINER™ brand of consumer fitness products and accessories. The travelTRAINER product line is the first premium line of fitness products designed specifically for travelers and individuals on the go. This same year, AFP is named PRECOR USA's Largest Commercial Distributor for the fourth consecutive year.

2006
AFP celebrates its 10-year anniversary with over 15,000 clients and growing. AFP's work can be viewed in leading Hotels, Resorts, Cruise Lines, Corporations, Universities, and facilities of all types around the world. A complete redevelopment of the company's worldwide "virtual" headquarters is re-established with the re-launch of www.AFProducts.com with a significantly upgraded look and feel and highly interactive functionality.
2007
AFP continues its consistent and steady growth, announcing expansion into the state of Florida with its new North Lauderdale-based Distribution and Service center. With a significant local client base, highlighted by the world's leading cruise lines and resorts in the South Florida region and the Disney empire to the North, the expansion will support AFP's growing business demand in this important national business and tourism hub. Building upon AFP's successful entry into the New York market in 2005, the addition of the company's interest in Florida has helped to further establish AFP as the nation's leading bi-coastal-based commercial fitness design and supply company.
